Alpharetta GA, This past February 25th-26th James Gué completed the 2 day Official Grand-Am sanctioned test at Homestead Miami Speedway in the Stevenson Motorsports Crawford Corvette GT car. Gué was the only driver during the 2 day test.

There were 33 Rolex cars in attendance for the 2 day test, including both Daytona Prototypes and GT cars. Gué competed in 3 races in 2007 with Stevenson Motorsports last season. The purpose of the test was to evaluate and sort out the Bosch engine management system, which was recently installed in the car. The entire first day was spent configuring the system and trying to diagnose a misfire. By the end of the first day most of the problems had been sorted out. The last session of the second day Gué was 3rd quickest only 3 tenths off the quickest time of the 2 day test.

Gué comments "I think it was a very productive test, we had a a lot of problems to sort through. I think we got thought the majority of what we were trying to accomplish. We were even able to work on the setup a little at the end of the 2nd day, and got the car going very quickly. It was a good bench mark for us having virtually all of the championship contenders in the GT class there. As we were only 3 tenths off the fast time of the 2 day test; I''m very happy with the test."
