Alpharetta, GA – The racing season for James Gué wrapped up at the beginning of October with the Koni Challenge 6 hour season finale in Virginia International Raceway.

Gué wrapped up a successful season with a 5th place finish in the season ending race along with teammate Bret Seafuse.During the 2007 season Gué raced with 4 different teams: JBS Motorsports in a Ford Mustang in Koni Challenge and in the Rolex GT class with Stevenson Motorsports in a Chevy Corvette (3 races), Tafel Racing in a Porsche GT3 (1 race) and Racers Edge in a Pontiac GXP.R (2 races).

In 2007 Gué competed in 18 races, 12 in the Koni Challenge Series and 6 in the Grand-Am Rolex GT Series. Gué recorded 9 top 10 finished and 4 top five finishes in 18 races, and a 4th place in the final points standings in the Koni Challenge Series. At the season end banquet for the Koni Challenge Gué and teammate Seafuse also picked up the award for being the top finishing Koni shod car as well as a check for $10,000.

Gué commented: “I’m pleased with the season. I was fortunate enough to be able to do the entire Koni season as well as almost half the Rolex GT season. Bret and I had a great year in the Mustang in Koni Challenge; we had a great shot at the championship, but came up just a little short. I just need to thank all the GT teams as well for letting me a part of their teams.”

Gué’s plans for next year are still to be decided. Hopefully there should be some announcement made shortly.
