#15 Multimatic Ford Focus ST-R finishes season on a high note in Lime Rock, CT with a 4th place

After not finishing the last 2 races the #15 Multimatic Ford Focus ST-R team looking to end the season on a high note for the 10th and final round of the Continental Tires Series. The final was a one day event that took place September 28th at Lime Rock Park Connecticut. The event consisted of practice, qualifying and the race all in one day, however the rain had set in for the day which meant qualifying was canceled and the starting grid was set by team points (13th place starting spot). The rain continued to fall at the start of the race, with everyone starting on rain tires Gue made his way to 7th place in the opening laps. At the 20 minute mark of the 2 1/2 hour race, two cars made contact and spun in front of Gue resulting all three cars off the track. At this point Gue rejoin the race in 28th place, and over the next 40 min Gue made his way back to 8th place before handing off to teammate Gunnar Jeannette. Jeannette was able to race his way up to 4th place, and with 15 minutes to go the rain finally stopped and the track began to dry. All Jeannette could do at that point was hold position in 4th till the end as the rain tires were starting to come apart on a drying track.

Gue commented: "I'm really happy with the result it's good to end the season on a high note. We were really hoping for a podium today, but considering the conditions and adversity we faced today it was a good day. The car ran great all day; the only thing we struggled with was visibility but that was the same for everyone. This was a tough learning year for us and I really need to thank everyone at Multimatic and Ford for the help and support this season."
